Kenton

KentonFormerly downtown Kenton, the Kenton Business District is now a designated Historic Design Area currently enjoying a revitalization. Kenton began its life as a small 19th century town, serving as the main ferry point to Washington State. Today, Kenton still maintains the atmosphere of a small town through the historic look and feel of the old downtown area and its pedestrian-friendly location. As one of the more affordable areas in Portland, Kenton has caught the attention of many home buyers and several new restaurants and other businesses.

Kenton is nestled between the major transportation arterials of Interstate 5, Lombard Avenue, Columbia Boulevard and Marine Drive. It's located within 10 minutes from downtown Portland, 15 minutes from the airport and five minutes from Vancouver. The Max Yellow Line serves the Kenton community with stations at Interstate Avenue and Lombard Street and Interstate and Denver Avenues.

Kenton offers affordability, a convenient location and a demographic base of community-minded residents. And it’s the home of the Paul Bunyan statue!
