The Alberta Street Business District

bars, trendy shops and salons
highlighted by local art galleries. A
celebration of individuality molds the
street into a multi-cultural mix of
businesses. In keeping with the
“Alberta Arts District” theme, many
shops display original art. A
community spirit permeates the
street as demonstrated by shops
that support local charities
benefiting the surrounding
neighborhoods.
Alberta Street hosts a lively festival every last Thursday of the month with entertainers, local craftsmen, and businesses that stay open late adding to the festive atmosphere. In addition, two special events are sponsored each year: the Alberta Art Hop on the third Saturday of May and the Alberta Street Fair on the third Saturday of September. Both events incorporate the neighborhoods and businesses which symbolize this edgy and distinctive urban district.
